Vest Advertising acquires Naiser Design, extends capabilities
Vest Advertising today announced the acquisition of Naiser Design, a 55-year old, Louisville-based design firm which specializes in the writing and graphic design of technical manuals for manufacturers such as GE. Mark Jacobs, president of Naiser, will come aboard to manage the former company's $700,000 current portfolio of business, which includes making all the installation instructions for all GE appliance products, among others. Vest's designers and production staff will help complete the projects, making technical writing and design a new area of expertise at Vest, which currently is a 28-employee, full service advertising, marketing, p.r. and digital media company.
While most of the transferred projects are through General Electric's Appliance division, Vest's leadership sees great opportunities for growth in this new division. Company leaders predict the addition of Jacobs' expertise, combined with the production capacity at Vest, will make the agency an attractive choice for companies looking for high quality, affordable technical design.
Jacobs Naiser, founded Naiser Design in 1954. Jacobs purchased it from his cousin in 1982, producing advertising, marketing, promotional material, collateral and installation manuals for real estate, restaurants, manufacturing and medical clients.
