When an advertising agency grows during a global advertising depression, it's news. So when Vest posted revenue gains of better than nearly 300 percent over the last three years, Business First, Louisville's business news publication, took notice.

This year, Vest was named #6 on the Business First's "Fast 50" list, which honors the 50 fastest growing companies in the Louisville market. In the last three years, Vest has doubled its employee base to 30 employees, moved its gross revenue to more than $20 million, and expanded its facilities from one to three buildings.

This month, Vest was also notified that it is one of three businesses named as finalists for Business First's "Business of the Year" award. The award honors not just growth, but strong management practices and corporate volunteerism, too. The three finalists are being featured in a story in the publication. A local TV station will create a video on Vest that will be shown during the Business of the Year Award Dinner on December 8, when the winner is announced.

"We couldn't be more excited about this nomination," said Rita Vest, president of Vest. "We've worked hard this year, bringing on new accounts, and adding new services like our digital media studio. We seem to have the right product and staff mix now, and it's been wonderful to watch the agency truly take off in the last few years. This award may have Vest's name on it, but it really honors the employees who have worked so hard to get us here."
