LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 6, 2010 — It was announced last week that Louisville, Kentucky’s Amanda Lucas and Audrey Cecil, a folk-pop music duo, will play a set at the ever- popular Lilith Fair music festival in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 20th. Lilith Fair was co-founded by Canadian music star Sarah McLachlan in 1997, and has made a comeback now in 2010. The traveling festival will hit many major US cities throughout the summer, and will feature some of music’s most famous female stars.

Lucas and Cecil won the “Local Lilith Talent Search” on the music website OurStage.com, and weeks later Lilith Fair reps chose the duo to play a full set at the Indianapolis location of the Lilith Fair, which will also feature Sarah McLachlan, Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, La Roux, Vita Chambers, Cara Salimando, Miranda Lambert, Chantal Kreviazuk, Kate Nash, and Suzanne Vega.

“We’re thrilled to see one of our artists featured at the Fair,” said Cody Vest, President of One Horse Records, a Louisville-based record label for independent artists. “Audrey has been touring for quite some time now, but this event is very high profile for her, and for us. It’s a chance for a broader audience to hear her music, and hear how special the indie scene in Louisville is becoming,” he added.

Lucas and Cecil will bring their full band along to play their set at 2:50 PM on July 20th at the Verizon Wireless Music Center.
